Plan of Front Cover-

The front cover needs to include all the relevant information that the target audience want to know; Album Name/Artists Name

This is a plan of our front cover to our album. We decided to get pictures off the Internet and make a collage of what we wanted our cover design to look like, our front cover is quite unique and different to every other album ensuring it stands out and hope to be eye catching. We made the decision to dress the girl in a cotton dress and giving her curly hair as shown in the picture on the side of the collage. We also wanted her to wear boots to add a country and western feel which links to the genre of our music. We decided to put a banner with the name of the artist across the top and have changed the bands original name from 'The Band Perry' to 'Lola Corba' as our cover is of a single artist and not a band. We came up with a different name which we felt was very unique and would be remembered and added a feminine blend supporting the album cover. I felt putting the artist in a jar added a sense of her being closed in her own world. We portray this further through our videos and it is a set point in our key generic features. The script font used will be handwritten text to add an additional girlie feel to the album. All of the images on our front page have been taken by us and edited individually by us.
